Why do big orders cost more on delivery apps?
Delivery apps charge a percentage of the order, so the fee grows with the basket. A £60 office lunch at 30% costs you £18, while a £10 coffee costs £3. Sizzle charges a flat fee per order, so a big order costs the same to process as a small one.
What does Sizzle charge per order?
A flat 30p per order on Core and 20p on Pro, whatever the order size. You choose whether to pay it yourself or add it to the customer's total at checkout.
Does this include card processing fees?
No. Card payments in your Sizzle app go through your Square account, so Square's usual card processing fees apply. Check your own commission agreement to see whether your delivery app's fee includes payment processing.
